Dr. Sunil Dedhia utilizes advanced techniques in arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery to treat disorders of the shoulder, knee, elbow, wrist, hand, foot and ankle. His goals include prompt diagnosis and appropriate conservative non-operative care. Patient education and involvement at all levels of care are emphasized. If surgery is indicated, all efforts are made to perform tissue sparing, minimally invasive procedures to allow prompt healing. Dr. Dedhia’s goal is a full return to work and leisure activities. He believes the physician and patient work together as a team toward the goal of full recovery.

Dr. Dedhia has served as a team physician for the Houston Astros Major League Baseball team, Houston Texans NFL team, and the Division I University of Houston Cougars. During his training at Northwestern, Dr. Dedhia assisted physicians who cared for the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs.

Dr. Dedhia has authored numerous Orthopedic articles both locally and in peer reviewed journals. He has also given many seminars locally as well as at national meetings on disorders of the shoulder and knee. Dr. Dedhia cares for patients of all ages ranging from adolescents to those in need of joint replacement. He is also well versed in the care of the injured worker and workman’s compensation.
