Dr. Joshua Scheidler
Dr. Joshua Scheidler is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician specializing in spine and musculoskeletal care. He completed his Spine Medicine Fellowship at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, where he also served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Scheidler completed his PM&R residency through the University of Colorado School of Medicine after earning his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Scheidler has extensive experience in non-surgical spine care, including fluoroscopic spine injections, electrodiagnostic studies, and comprehensive rehabilitation medicine. Prior to returning to Indiana, he practiced for more than seven years with Kaiser Permanente in the Department of Neurosurgery, where he also served as Department Technical Lead to improve physician efficiency within the Epic electronic health record system.
Throughout his career, Dr. Scheidler has remained actively involved in education, research, and community service. He has contributed to medical publications and presentations focused on spine health, musculoskeletal medicine, and rehabilitation, including contributions to Benzel’s Spine Surgery.
Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Scheidler focuses on helping patients reduce pain, improve function, and return to the activities they enjoy most. His clinical interests include spine disorders, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and non-operative orthopedic care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, concerts, movies, and playing guitar.
