Kelly De Jong, FNP-C
Kelly De Jong graduated with Highest Distinction Honors in 2009 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Purdue Calumet. After graduation, she worked in a variety of settings including a cardiothoracic surgical unit, critical care unit, and post-anesthesia care unit. She graduated in 2015 from Purdue Calumet with her Master’s in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2015. She is now working as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner with all the physicians at OSNI. Her goals include treating patients in an individualized manner to provide the best patient care possible.
She also manages patient’s nonsurgical care including monitoring progress with medication management, physical therapy, and epidural injections. She sees a variety of patients including patients with pain from the neck, back, knee, shoulder or hip. She is able to perform cortisone or hyaluronic injections in the office for pain relief.
In addition to her love for her career, she enjoys spending time with her family, being active, and spending time outdoors. She and her husband Josh, have three children, Alivia, Dylan, and Gavin.
